Use of the app

Matin provides alarm and morning briefing features for personal use on iOS 26 or later. You are responsible for setting alarms correctly, keeping your device charged, allowing needed permissions, and confirming that your device settings allow alerts to work as expected.

Subscription and free trial

Matin offers a free trial followed by a paid subscription. Subscription availability, pricing, trial length, renewal, and billing terms are shown in the app and handled through Apple.

Payments and cancellation

Payments are processed by Apple through your Apple ID. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before renewal. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your App Store account settings. Deleting the app does not automatically cancel a subscription.

Accuracy and availability

Matin depends on your device, iOS permissions, network availability, weather sources, calendar access, and notification behavior. We do not guarantee that alarms, weather, calendar details, or briefings will always be accurate, complete, or delivered at a specific time. Briefings are generated by AI and may occasionally contain errors or omissions.

Backup alarms

You should keep a backup alarm if waking up at a certain time is important. Matin is intended to improve your morning routine, not replace every safety-critical or time-critical alarm system.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Matin and its creators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar damages arising from use of the app, including missed alarms, inaccurate briefings, or unavailable services.
